To help eliminate this problem, Lite-Coat low-shrink clear butyrate dope was developed as a substitute in some applications. Lite-Coat has the exact same handling characteristics and high gloss of Supercoat clear, but with a lot less shrinkage. In fact, they are completely compatible and intermixable.
